Spooky Season

August 5, 2019

General Información
August is the new October here in Mexico, as while on a 5:30 am bus ride to meet up with some Elders to end divisones, our bus driver happily put on the classic "Ghostbusters" to get rid of the morning dull. A little suprising to hear, but very well received, as I nostalgically got to nod my head as we drove through the dark and sleep town roads of San Juan that I have come to call home. A cool moment, and a cooler start to another great month out in the work of the Lord.

Changes

Crazily today marks the start of yet another change, and as always this morning we had to say goodbye to lot of people from the district. Crazier is that out of the 5 companionships in the district, 4 got changes, leaving only Elder Gutiérrez and I the same. But, the future is always brighter, and although we said goodbye to some very good Elders and Sisters, we got to say hello to a lot of very good ones too, and I know this change is going to be another good one.

World-Class Education Takes on Mexico

As they say, once a Knight, always a Knight, and the saying rings true as I got the chance to greet another fellow Lone-Peaker, Tanner Nielson, off the bus today. Super special moment as we got to talk a little about home in between taking his bags to the President's car; in the new and strange world of Mexico, it definintely was a little bit of comfort for the both of us to see a familar face, and I hope that in the short journy of the misison, Elder Nielson and I can cross paths again.

El Fin

Out of time, but all i can say is I love my mission, I love the Lord for everything He has given me, and I love all of you. Hope you all have a great week, and we will talk next week!
