4th of July?

General Información

A big hola to all of you wonderful people on this Monday afternoon. Here in the land of the free and the home of the tacos, we come to the end of the first week of Presidente Domiguez, who got here last Monday. Of course, we will miss President Willamson, but I got to chance to have a meeting with him this Friday, and I felt so much love, and support in just the few hours we had together. He has a lot of ideas for the mission, and it was just another testimony to me that the Church is lead by revelation, as I know he truly is called of God. I can't wait to see what the future holds, and to move forward in the work.

4th of July in Mexico
Well as you might expect, 4th of July wasn't as full of fireworks and hot dogs as the ones from years past. In fact, it was basically just a normal day, but we did have a few people here wish us happy "American day", so I did feel some love for the good ol US. We did get to celebrate a little though at the end of the night with the classic pizza and soda, so all in all, not a too bad of a day.

This morning while cleaning our house, I was watching a video by the church called "Speical Witnesses of Christ", a video that come out in 2000 where all the prophets and apostles shared their testimonies about Christ. As I heard these men of God share these everso powerful testimonies, I had the Spirit testify to me of the truthfulness of them, and of this church. This is the church of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He truly suffered and died for us, to save us, and to give us a pathway back to God. I know it is something that I have said a lot of times, especially in these past 8 months, but it is because I truly have seen the blessings, and happiness that this Church provides, and I will forever be grateful to my Heavenly Father that he gave me the chance to share it with all the people that I can. I love my mission, I love this church, and I love all of you. May you have a great weekend, and I will talk to you next week!
