They Are Closing The Querétaro Mexico Mission
General Información
April's Fools! Ha! ...i am sorry to resort to pulling bad pranks on my email list like this but april's fool doesn't exist here so this is my only chance so... anyway! We had changes today! That's news that's real! I am still going to be here in Celaya with Isiordia for 6 more weeks to finish his training, so after 18 weeks here, I am in the finally few which is weird. Something which is even weirder though is that this being my 4 change in the same place, I am now the only person from my original district who is still here, maybe even the zone as I am the only trainer. All in all, I am happy to have a little more time in little old Celaya, as it's many bus routes and very few sanatory food joints have become a familar friend.

Field Trip
Being good friends with the Zone Leaders has it's perks, as I got to fly the coop and head out with Elder Barton to a town 40 minutes away called San Miguel Allende to help with a batizmal interview. It had a beautiful plaza in the center (that I took
0 photos of), but we were lead by the missionaries of that area to the outskirts of the town. It was there that we meet the family they were going to baptize, a Mom, Dad, and 4 little kids. The Dad apologized to us before we got to his house, saying he was
poor and this was all they had, as we entered an open dirt area with no celling and few blankets in the corner to sleep with. It was a special moment, as we sat on buckets in the dying daylight, and talked to this family who had little in the eyes of the world,
but everything and more in the eyes of our Heavenly Father. They were so strong in their testimony of the church, and were grateful for everything little thing they had. As the finished the night, and began to say goodbye, their 3 year old son Evan hugged
my legs, and told me not to go. I've never been good at goobyes, but saying goodbye to Evan was one of the harder I have had to go through. I know without a doubt they will be blessed from their baptizm, and that they will feel the love of our Heavenly Father
for them, the same love I felt for them in the few short hours I had with them.
Living With An Avenger
With the new Avengers coming out soon (at least, that's what the members tell us), we got a speical sneak peak at one of the main characters..Black Widow! Have to admit, she's a little different in person, and lives in the corner of our bathroom window,
but nonetheless it has been an abosulte pleasure to have her crash with us! But, she's not great at sharing the bathroom, so we are working on a way to convice her to move out. Right now the best idea we have is a can of Axe with a lighter, not sure how she'll
take it, but I'll keep you guys updated!
El Fin
The start of the end for me here in Celaya, and I am so happy I got to start my mission here. I have made so many friends, from the members of the ward to the local shop owners, and it'll be a bummer to leave them. But, we still have 6 weeks, so we are
going to enjoy every second!
