General Información

I am now a whole hand, as this week I hit 5 months! It's crazy, as I feel like I close my eyes, and another months passes. I have verly quickly learned to take enjoy everyday, as 2 years goes a lot quicker when you get so into the mission that you forget about time, and that's really where I am. Honestly, I can't see myself doing anything else but preaching the word in the streets of Mexico, and I wouldn't want it any other way

Splits

A little slow of a week as far as stories, but I did have the opportunity to have splits with my Zone Leader Elder Barton! He is from Knab, Utah, and it's always funny when you put 2 gringos together because everyone and anyone takes notice. The day was pretty normal, but in the night, we went to visit an investigator, and suprise suprise, he wasn't there, but we started talking to a 18 year old who was waiting outside. Funny enough, he was actually waiting for the daughter of our investigator to show up for a date, but she was a no-show, so obviously the next best thing is to talk to 2 white boys dressed in church clothes. But really, we had a really cool discussion about the Restauration, and he was super intrested. He told us he wanted to learn more, we swapped info, and we were off. But, it was just a perfect example of how sometimes we get blessings from the last place we'd expect. 

El Fin

While it was a slow week for stories, it was a good week for the week, as we found 12 investigators, and finally, after 8 weeks, got 2 investigators to church. It took splits with some kids in our ward, and a ride from a member, but those extra efforts where the difference. Now, it's just about keeping the good going, and getting some progresssion. We have some dates for baptizm in the first few weeks of Abril, so hopefully we will have some good stuff to report to you guys here soon ;) Until then!
