Información General
What's popping my brethren and brethreness. We had changes last week so I didn't have time to write but we are back in action today. In action, and for me, a little under the weather; we went knocking doors for 3 hours yesterday on this hillside and I think the chill might have gotten to me. But advil does miracles, and I am excited for a good week ahead.

Last Week Recap
I am happy to say that I am staying here with Elder Manavahe for my 4th change in Colinas. We have really grown close, and I love working with him so I'm excited for one more change. On top of that, I've have 5 comps so far in my mission, and with all but one have had 2 consecutive changes so also nice to keep that streak hahah. In sad news, our beloved Elder Cook got changed from the district. It has been such a big blessing to get to know him in these last few changes here, but the silver lining is that he is an area close to here so I'm sure we will be seeing each other. If not, we are officially roomies in the Village at South Campus, so watch out provo, in August we are coming for you 😤 Another good note is that Clifford is staying in the district, so the good times roll on. Like I said, meeting guys like Cook and Clifford has been such a blessing for me, and I can't wait to see what this change and the future holds.

 A Different Deflatgate
I am sure that Maurizo has a bright future ahead of him, because every time we visit him the trips of full of as many difficulties as miracles. We go on to the usual bus for the 1 hour haul to his house, but what was not usual was the amount of people on it. The bus made canned sardines look like they were chilling in a one the 4 comfortable, lounge bedrooms found in a standard room at the Village at South Campus (not a sponsor). I also am sure that the canned sardines would have moved fast too, as the bus was as most crawling. We tortised (you know, like a tortise? Moving slow? So I put -ed at the end to make it an adjective? No? Ok) up the hill for a solid 10 minutes, before the bus made a sudden stop on the side of the road, and the bus driver announced that the wheels were out of air. That lead to us chilling with about a hundred thousand other people outside of the bus on the mountain road. We called Maurizo and told me about the situation, but happily told us he'd wait for us to get there. Equally as happily, at that moment passed a taxi with 2 people inside, who asked if we wanted to jump in. A miracle for sure, and a few minutes later we pulled up to the Dolphine, and had a great lesson with Maurizo about the Plan of Salvation. It was cool as we told him about all the troubles that happened to get here, he himself recognized that it was Satan trying to stop him from hearing our message. He also said how he felt strengthened by God to be able to wait for us, and all in all it was a great experience. The only bad thing though is that he texted us this week and said he is going to be on a trip to Durango for 10 weeks, but I'm sure when he gets back the missionaries here will be able to help him progress on this eternal journey that he has started. Although I may not see the fruits of my labours, I thank my Heavenly Father for having let me get to know him, and have these testimony-building experiences.

El Fin
By the end of this week it's Feburary which is crazy and by the end of February I'll be starting my last 4 changes in the mission which is crazier. While time moves on, I am just trying to take advantage of every day that lays ahead, and come home being the person that Heavenly Father wants me to be. I feel like the mission is a textbook, you have experiences that strengthen different aspects of your testimony, and I can't thank my Heavenly Father for all the times where I've seen His hands gently tutor and guide me, and I can't wait to see what lessons I have still to learn. Wishing you all an incredible week, I love you all so much and I'll be talking to you all again soon!

Love mucho,
Elder Jackson
