Hey all!! I know it's been a while since I've written to which I truly apologize. But we are back and we had a great week so let's get into it!

Splits with the Spiritual Giants

On Friday my boys Elder Clifford and Elder Cook needed to have some baptizmal interviews done, so we spent the whole day in splits to get them done. We finished the first interview, went to food, and then we went to give a blessing to a sister who was sick. She's not a member, but is living with some members and they had told her about the priesthood blessings that can given thanks to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. She was interested in one, so that lead to us finding ourselves in here room late that afternoon. This sister has  been sick for the past 2 years, and for right now she's confined to bed rest, so Elder Cook, Clifford and I gently put placed the anointed oil, and with one hand on each other's shoulders and the other on her head, we gave here the blessing. The spirit was one of the strongest I've felt in my mission, and I felt the guidance in every word of the blessing. We finished, took our hands of her head, and a wave of peace flooded into the room, and only increased as one by one we testified of the power of the priesthood, and the love of Heavenly Father for her. This sister also lives with her old sister who takes care of her, and was present for the whole blessing. As we walked out, she asked if we could come by next week to talk to her more about the church, and we put a appointment for next week. We thanked her, left the house and as we started down the street, I felt how Alma felt, that I was with my "brethren in the Lord" and I'm so grateful to have the blessing of meeting these friends and brothers for life.
