Holland in México

General Información

The halfway point of this change is on the horizon, as this is the beginning of week 3 here in San Juan del Rio. Elder Clifford and I have had a really good time working, as we have seen a lot of miracles of meeting in these past few weeks. That or maybe 2 tall white kids walking around in Mexico isn't super common, and the locals just want to know what in the world we are doing here. Either way, we have had a lot of success, and I have truly loved working and sharing the Gospel with the wonderful people of this wonderful little town.

The Elder Holland
Yes, that is right, Elder Holland is making a stop here in the Querétaro mission tomorrow, with all the excitement that you could imagine. We knew it was a legit when we were told we had to get there early to have our profession photoshoot before the meeting, so we made sure to hit the barber today for the perfect missionary haircut possible before the big day. Very, very excited to see what's instore, tomorrow we will see what he has for us!

El Fin

While doing my personal study this week, I came across the scripture in Mark 5 : 36 that says "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe." It was that last line that really hit me, as fear is something we all face. But, we only have to believe, as with the Gospel, there is nothing in this world that we have to fear.
