Febuary

General Información

Someone forgot to tell January to take it's time, because I blinked and someone changed the calender. It wasn't until today though that I realized that February is not spelled like "Febuary". I wish I had realized that before I wrote 4 journal enteries like that, but it's all good. I would rather have my English be the language I am struggling with anyway ;)

"Dude I have a sick idea for your haircut"

Those were the last words of my Bolivian Zone Leader before he took his trusty hair clipper to my hair. I didn't have a mirror in front of me, which in the end probably was a good thing, so I didn't get to see the sick fade he gave me until all the dust (and hair, lots of hair) had setteled. I am not sure the fade was designed for white boys like me, but we are going to rock with it. And best of all, it was free, so mission accomplished! 

El Fin

While a lot of cool things happened this week, the most powerful and spiritual happened at the end of this week. We had had a lot of really good lessions with some cool new investigators, but I found myself just lacking the ability to connect with them. With changes coming up, I walked home stressing about how in the world my limited Spanish was going to be able to teach people in the future. When we got home, I read my daily scripures, and come across 2 Nephi 7 : 4 which says "The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season unto thee, O house of Israel. When ye are weary he waketh morning by morning. He waketh mine ear to hear as the learned." I know this was my anwser to my worries, and it's just another testiment to the love of our Heavenly Father for us. He is there to help us when we need it, we just need to do our part. This is His Gospel, and it is through this that we can come unto Him. I am grateful everyday to have the opportunity to testify of that. Wishing you all a safe and happy "Febuary", until next week!
